It was Alyssa Valdez and Amy Ahomiro's last playing year last season 78 of the UAAP, Ateneo still has a lot of strong players that remained in their team. In their last championship game wherein the two did their best, their team won second place in the recently concluded UAAP finals game. The DLSU Lady Spiker's won the game and the DLSU Lady Spiker's were the champions.
Ateneo still has their younger players to continue and have a strong chance in next year's UAAP season. Alyssa Valdez played for UST in her high school days, before she entered Ateneo in college. Alyssa won and played a lot of games and received a lot of awards.
She received a lot of recognition in her college career. She was an MVP and best scorer. Amy Ahomiro is also a strong player and received numerous awards in volleyball.
