In the recent UAAP season 78 of the Women's Volleyball event the De La Salle lady spiders wins the gold medal in the best if three match against the Ateneo Lady Eagles. Both of the teams performed well. The De Lasalle Lady Spiker's won against the Ateneo Lady Eagles winning three out of the four sets, 19-25, 25-21,25-16, 25-16. Kim Dy scored 17 points while three time MVP Alyssa Valdez scored 31 points. A lot of fans cheered with their respective teams.
The venue was filled with fans and supporters. We also overheard that each of the respective teams were supported by their fans and followers even they are out of town. It was shown on social media that other fans and supporters watched their respective teams even they are out on vacation. We also overheard that it's the last year of the three time MVP Alyssa Valdez in playing for the UAAP.
We also overheard as she waived through her fans as a sign of farewell in the UAAP a lot of her fans were sad because it was her last year in the UAAP. She is one of the best players in the country. She made her fans proud. Alyssa Valdez is a very talented and exceptional player. Has a lot of awards and has a lot of followers.
